Suppliers

If the devices you want to dispose of are older than August 13, 2005, your supplier is required to take them back free of charge when he delivers new devices with the same function.

If you want to dispose of your old equipment prior to August 13, 2005 without purchasing new equipment, you must use an accredited collector or an approved social service provider, or use one of the other take back channels described below.

For equipment sold after 13 August 2005 and without any other specific agreement fixing other financing methods, your supplier is required to take back your old equipment free of charge.

Sorting and grouping centers

If you have big quantities of WEEE, you can drop them in one of our sorting and grouping centers. For more information please contact Ecotrel.

Container park

Without prejudice to other applicable rules, including in particular municipal or trade union regulations relating to the operation of container parks, you may deposit up to 5m3 of refrigerators, CRT screens and large white appliances and up to 1m3 of other small WEEE free of charge within one week.

If your municipality does not have a container park, we advise you to contact your municipality to find out about existing structures or to visit the website www.e-collect.lu
